I don¹t know Steve Gill as well as the others, but he definitely has a lot to offer DCC users. You may recognize the Ulrich name - Ulrich Models kits have been around since the late 40's.
One of the things that made it possible for me to support DCC like I have over the years is the fact that I have a multi-faceted computer background. Knowing how computers work (hardware and software) helped me understand how various DCC components work internally. This goes a long way in troubleshooting ‹especially weird problems and situation.
Steve Gill, having worked at Ball and Ball years ago, also has a computer background. As such, his capabilities along this line should be similar to mine. That, and their commitment to service and support, makes Ulrich Models a good source for DCC equipment and support.
